Prishtina, 12 June 2021, dtt-net.com – Kosovo Albanians today are marking the 22nd anniversary of end of the 1998-1999 war which left nearly 13,000 civilians killed by Serbia regime of the late Slobodan Milosevic;  more than 120,000 houses destroyed; around 20,000 women and girls raped; nearly 1 million forcibly evicted from their homes and deported to Albania and North Macedonia, with most of them returning back to rebuild from scratch their lives as the war ended on 12 June 1999 following the intervention of NATO which made Serbian army, police and paramilitaries leave Kosovo.
