Belgrade, 27 September 2021, dtt-net.com – American and Canadian Defence Attache Officers, from  the Embassies of the two countries in Belgrade, today afternoon visited two border crossings with Kosovo, after NATO-led troops (KFOR) were dispatched to patrol the areas earlier today, as western powers are stepping in trying to diffuse tensions between the two sides, including through talks set to be re-launched on Wednesday (September 29) at EU HQ in Brussels.

Brussels/Prishtina/Belgrade, 26 September 2021, dtt-net.com – EU’s chief of diplomacy, Josep Borrell today said Kosovo government should immediately withdraw special police units from the north and Serbs should dismantle roadblocks, while both Kosovan and Serbian leaders come to Brussels for talks on “all open issues” but kept silent on Serbia helicopters and fighter jets flying near Kosovo border for third consecutive day and dispatched military troops near the border crossing of Jarinje since yesterday.

Belgrade/Prishtina, 26 September 2021, dtt-net.com – Serbia’s Minister of Defense Nebojsa Stefanovic the Chief of the General Staff, Milan Mojsilovic,  the Ambassador of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bocan-Kharchenko, and the Russian Defence Envoy, Major General Alexander Zinchenko today visited Serbian army troops that are ‘in a state of increased combat readiness” at the Raska garrison 10 km from the border with Kosovo as tensions continue for the seventh consecutive day.
