Washington/Prishtina, 28 March 2020, dtt-net.com – The Chairman of the USA Congress House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Eliot L. Engel addressed strong concern over what he called “bullying” policy and “heavy handed tactics” by the Government of the President Donald Trump toward Kosovo, which resulted last week to the dismissal of Albin Kurti’s government 50 days after it came in power, and called for correction of Washington’s behaviour  and at the same time work together with the EU to treat, both Serbia and Kosovo, as “independent and sovereign partners”.

Prishtina/Washington, 26 March 2020, dtt-net.com – Donald Trump’s  Special Presidential Envoy Richard Grenell, Ambassador Philip Kosnett and Special Representative for the Western Balkans Matthew Palmer today said in a statement “there is no secret plan for land swaps between Kosovo and Serbia, as some have speculated “ and that Grenell “has never seen nor discussed such a plan,” but despite the statement Trump’s government has not stood up against the dangerous idea to the stability in the Western Balkans nor in favour of Kosovo  territorial integrity as of yet leaving the possibility of the land swap still open for Washington, however, to which Germany and most of its EU partners are strongly and publicly against.

Prishtina, 25 March 2020, dtt-net.com – Kosovan parliament today sacked the governing coalition of the PrimeMinister Albin Kurti, 50 days after it came in power, in a motion filed by the junior member of the cabinet, the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), backed by opposition parties and pushed by country’s President Hashim Thaçi and the USA government of the President Donald Trump, with both pushing for dangerous land swap with Serbia, strongly protested by Germany and France.
