Kosovo President in open discord with US Ambassador over ‘army’ plans

Prishtina, dtt-net.com -  Kosovan president Hashim Thaçi today clashed openly with the US Ambassador Greg Delawie over the future of Kosovo Security Force (KSF) with the first insisting on amending a current law and make the force a regular army bypassing the constitutional veto power of Kosovan Serb lawmakers.


Delawie called today on his Twitter account on Kosovan institutions to ‘coordinate’ with western partners, the US, the EU and the NATO, hinting that Thaçi should not rush and take unilateral decisions through parliament to amend the law...
