Skopje,  dtt-net.com – President of the country Gjorge Ivanov today joined nationalists of VMRO-DPMNE by refusing to give mandate to the leader of social-democrats, Zoran Zaev, for setting up a new coalition government with Ethnic Albanians, because of the plans for wider use of Albanian minority language in the EU candidate country.

Street protests are being held by Macedonian nationalists led by former premier Nikola Gruevski who is fuelling the fire in its own country  by turning his supporters against Ethnic Albanians who want more rights.

The looming crisis in Macedonia is being watched carefully by the EU which fears eruption of wider crisis in the aspirant countries across the Western Balkans at the time when Russia is hoping problems in the region would slow the path of the region….
